IMTEC-Scl70-Antibodies is an indirect solid-phase enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) for the qualitative and/or quantitative measurement of IgG class autoantibodies against Scl70 in human serum. The assay is intended for in vitro diagnostic use only as an aid in the diagnosis of scleroderma.

Autoantibodies to Scl70 are almost exclusively found in patients with systemic scleroderma with a frequency of 70%. Therefore these antibodies are considered to be marker antibodies of systemic scleroderma. Scl70 positive scleroderma patients have a more severe clinical course (involvement of internal organs) and poorer prognosis as centromere positive scleroderma patients.
